CARLSBAD, CA (November 14, 2017) —Information technology solutions and consulting services provider Cerna Solutions, LLC today announced the release of version 2.1.5 of CapIO™, an automated testing platform for ServiceNow®. CapIO provides a suite of tools, to standardize test automation for ServiceNow by providing a future-proof API with over 300 commands for building tests.
The new version includes features that have been updated or added to enhance the user experience and overall usability of the application. The new features provide customers the ability to specify global data for test plans, capability for unit testing, ability to run servers in grid configuration, support for ServiceNow Jakarta version, and much more. In addition, the new interactive console, referred to as CapIO Mini™, provides the ability to integrate with a persistent browser session. These updates reduce the amount of time and money required to develop and maintain back-end code, as well as offer confidence in new updates and releases of the applications.

Originally launched in January 2016, the new updates make it easier to write, manage and execute automated tests, as well as provide the user with the ability to integrate other testing tools to automate functional, performance, unit and mobile testing. CapIO uses a standard API which is built and maintained by Cerna Solutions, to protect scripts from future failures caused by changes to the ServiceNow application.
