Cerna Solutions is growing at a rapid pace and we are looking for a Sr. Technical Consultant with a strong security foundation who is looking for the opportunity to utilize their extensive background in security solutions.  The ideal candidate will be focused, able to work independently, but also have experience collaborating on team projects.  Must have proven work experience with business regulatory standards and security incident response.

Responsibilities

  • Participating in scoping project requirements and deliverables with client;
  • Understanding and communicating security best practices;
  • Identifying potential security vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate solutions;
  • Guiding customers through project to best suit their needs;
  • Pinpointing project elements that are out of scope of established requirements;
  • Configuring Application UI;
  • Customizing workflow configuration;
  • Creating documentation and reporting based on specific customer needs;
  • Managing quality of service throughout project and upon completion;
  • Communicating issues and risks to appropriate team members;
  • Multitasking on more than one project when necessary;
  • Minimal travel required;
  • Eligible to work in the United States for any employer;

 Experience

  • Experience leading security implementations with the ServiceNow platform;
  • Working knowledge of GRC and SOM applications for ServiceNow;
  • Extensive understanding of regulatory standards such as NIST, FedRAMP, ISO, HIPPA, SOX, PCI and others;
  • Strong familiarity with JavaScript, XML and HTML;
  • Active working knowledge of Web Services;
  • Knowledge of LDAP, VPN, and SSL components;
  • Ability to clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Excellent testing and debugging skills;
  • Strong history of problem solving;
